Idea #1
A Chrome extension called BookmarkBuddy that finally makes Twitter bookmarks useful
I need an ai agent that monitors my twitter bookmarks and goes and does something productive with them.BookmarkBuddy would monitor a user’s Twitter bookmarks and trigger productive actions automatically. Like summarizing articles, building to-do lists, or sending links to Notion or email folders.
To dodge expensive API fees, it could use a manual export method (similar to how tools like OneClick Exporter work). Users could either connect their account or just export their bookmarks once in a while.
All bookmark data would be processed locally inside the browser to avoid privacy issues.

Idea #2
A Chrome Extension That Simplifies ChatGPT Conversation Management with Context Forking
I am a $200 / month ChatGPT Pro power user (and Claude and now Gemini), and I really really want a "fork" feature
I have so much preloaded context I don't want to 1) deal with different tasks on the same convo thread, or 2) repaste that context every timeRight now, if you want to spin off a conversation into a new thread, you either have to copy, paste, or just wrestle everything into one giant spaghetti mess. Juggling preloaded context across tasks sucks.
The idea is simple:
Add a “Fork” button inside ChatGPT. Click it, and boom, it branches your current chat into a clean new thread without losing any of the original context.

Paid Browser Extensions Are the Next $500K/Year Play
Business Idea: 001
Start building Paid Browser Extensions.
Gemini Pro 2.5 can one shot Chrome extensions in Manifest v3.
I built grammarly clone in 30 minutes using Cursor + CodeGuide with Gemini Pr0 2.5 max for coding.
Now is the best time to start Customized Browser Agency or Extension Suite.
Idea #3
A Chrome Extension That Provides an Interactive AI Chat Sidebar for Enhanced Learning
the new optimal way to consume educational content...
watch the video & keep gemini open for any clarifications
bonus points if you provide personal context & ask for practical applications from the lessons in the videoInstead of sitting through hour-long videos and trying to piece everything together yourself, this extension would drop a full video summary right inside YouTube, pulling out the key points and concepts in seconds.
But it doesn’t stop there. It also adds a live AI chat sidebar where you can ask questions while you watch. Like, “How would I use this code in a real-world project?”
And the AI (powered by something like GPT or Gemini Nano) gives you real, tailored answers based on what you’re watching.

Idea #4
A Chrome extension that rips design tokens straight out of any website
[WIP] - solving my own problems.
Building a Chrome Extension to fetch design tokens from any website.
I'll share, if you're interested, once its published.Instead of guessing or digging through CSS files, you just click, and boom. It pulls out the design system pieces in a clean, usable format.
It would work right inside the browser, scanning the DOM or CSS, and showing you exactly what you need, no overcomplicated UI, no weird exports.

Idea #5
A Chrome Extension That Scrapes Shopify Liquid Code from Web Sections with AI Integration
Update: I managed to create a chrome extension that can do this, I just have to click on the section I want and it gives me the liquid code (I linked it to open AI to see what it gives)
I will update you soon for the efficiency Instead of digging through endless source code or fighting clunky tools like Cursor and V0, you just point, click, and grab the exact Liquid snippet you need. Whether it’s a product block, size selector, or anything else templated.
To make it even better, it could hook into OpenAI to help clean up, refine, or even enhance the scraped code automatically.
Perfect for Shopify devs who want to stop wasting time and start building themes faster, with future possibilities like style replication, API integration, and dynamic content tweaks baked in.
Idea #6
A Chrome Extension That Transforms OM PDFs into Interactive Map-Based Property Repositories
We built a slick Chrome extension at DealGroundCRE that automatically converts your OM PDFs into your own map based property repositoryInstead of manually digging through OMs and typing out property details like it’s 1999, you just upload the PDF, and bam, it scrapes the key info and plots everything onto an interactive map inside your browser.
Way faster. Way fewer mistakes. And way easier to spot good deals when you can see them laid out spatially.
Perfect for CRE folks who want to speed up portfolio management, market analysis, or just stop drowning in paperwork.
Idea #7
A Chrome Extension That Visualizes Your Figma Design Activity with a GitHub-Style Heatmap
I used to be cool ☹️
We need a heat chart for Figma, who's building this?Instead of guessing how much work you actually get done (or letting it all blur together), this tool would track your real-time activity inside Figma, edits, new designs, collabs, and paint it onto a clean, color-coded heatmap.
Darker days = more design action.
Lighter days = maybe time to pick up the pace.
You’d see your full design rhythm over days, weeks, or months, right from your browser. And you could customize the range, export the data, or screenshot your activity chart to flex on your team.
It could tap into Figma’s Activity Logs API (for Enterprise/Org users) for the heavy-duty data. Or just piggyback on Chrome’s time-tracking powers for a lightweight version without needing deep Figma integration.
Idea #8
A Chrome Extension That Automates Reddit Post Discovery and Reply Generation
Can anyone help me find a tool like this?
- Scan reddit and find posts that apply to my product
- Draft multiple replies
- I just need to click a button to send the replyInstead of wasting hours hunting for relevant posts and typing replies from scratch, this tool would scan Reddit for posts related to whatever you’re promoting, Then instantly draft a handful of tailored replies using AI. You pick the best one, click once, and boom, reply sent.
It would hook into Reddit’s API to sniff out the right posts and use something like ChatGPT under the hood to write smart, context-aware responses.
Perfect for anyone trying to market on Reddit without turning it into a full-time job, social media managers, founders, indie makers, or whoever.
