Idea #1
A Chrome extension that lets you clip and download a part of a YouTube video
my next $1000 mrr saas gonna be this
You watch a video, hit a button, drag to mark the segment you want, and boom, your clip is ready to download.
No more messing with external editors or scrubbing timestamps manually.
Perfect for creators, educators, or anyone who just wants to grab the good stuff and move on.
Similar Solutions:
Need high-authority backlinks without begging or cold outreach?
Here’s a stupid-simple trick 99% of devs ignore.
Go through the tech stack you already build with.
React, Sanity, Supabase, Tailwind, whatever.
Now… check their website.
Look for a section called “Agencies,” “Partners,” or “Experts.”
If it’s there?
Submit yourself.
No gimmicks. No cost.
And boom, they slap your agency on a high-DR page with a juicy follow-backlink.
Mark Bruderer did it with Sanity.io.
Now he’s got a shiny backlink from a DR 86 site pointing straight at his domain.
Took him 3 minutes.
These pages exist because they want to promote the people using their tools.
You’re helping them and getting free SEO juice in return.
Build authority without link building.
Just list yourself where the tech stack wants to show you off.
It’s the easiest win you’re not using.
Idea #2
A Chrome extension that plugs AI-powered song discovery straight into the Spotify web player
Crazy times. This morning, while getting breakfast, I instructed Gemini to write a Python script that connects to my Spotify, pulls my liked songs, and uses Gemini to recommend more songs.
Each time I run the script, my Spotify playlist gets updated with 20 new recommended songs that haven't been recommended yet. And I can run it as many times a day as I want. No need to wait a week for Spotify to update Discover Weekly
You open Spotify in your browser, hit a button, and the extension fetches your liked songs, sends the list to Gemini, and spits out fresh, unique recommendations on the spot.
It builds a real-time playlist (“New Gemini Recs” or whatever you want to call it) without you ever leaving the tab.
You can tweak how many songs it adds, how often it runs, or just set it and forget it.

Idea #3
A Chrome extension that lets you fix websites with plain English
Steal this idea.
A browser plugin that allows you to modify behavior of any website you regularly visit based on natural language.
You type in what you want, and it generates html/js/css to apply at runtime.
It's really easy to build.
You take Violetmonkey and hook it up with a LLM, and you're more or less done!
Hate a site’s layout? Sick of popups? Want dark mode on a site that won’t give it to you?
You just type: “Remove ads” or “Add a sticky sidebar”, and the extension uses a big ol’ LLM to write the code on the fly and tweak the site right there. No coding, no fiddling with sketchy userscripts.
It hooks into something like Violentmonkey under the hood, but all the magic happens in real-time, based on your words.
Idea #4
A Chrome extension that plays Subway Surfers in the background while ChatGPT thinks
This made me think, openAI needs to add a subway surfers TikTok vid at the bottom while their models are thinking
It watches for API calls (like when you hit “send” on ChatGPT), and if the response lags, it kicks in a looping Subway Surfers video. Just like those split-screen TikToks that somehow make everything feel faster.
You can tweak stuff like volume, opacity, or pick from a handful of preloaded clips.
Lightweight. Seamless. No extra brainpower required.
Perfect for killing that awkward dead-air moment between your question and the AI finally spitting out an answer.
