A chrome extension that avoids duplicate downloads

Idea : A browser feature / plugin that retains a registry of MD5 sums of downloaded files to their download locations. When you (I) attempt to download the *same* file for the 50th time it notifies you / saves you the trouble.

You can add another feature where the extension helps you find the existing file in your downloads.
