It's so cool. DAOPanel is one of the first clients built using XMTP as the messaging backbone, so it's native web3 chat.

without showing to the sender what's your twitter handle
that's how you create onchain messaging usage

People care a lot more about their privacy now and this can serve as a good tool. But you would have to figure out a way to not make the pop-ups irritating.
