Why did a Taylor Swift fan make this Chrome extension?

Ruben Martinez Jr. is a Taylor Swift fan and wanted to join her recent tour.

But when he went to Ticketmaster to get his tickets, he was shown that 2,000+ people were in line before him.

He checked the browser developer tools and was expecting to see a percentage but He was surprised to see his exact position - 23,913.

Ruben decided to make a chrome extension and spend 40 minutes (while waiting in line) to build Place in line.

His extension got featured in Telegraph, Wired, and many other platforms.

Can someone make a chrome extension that auto blocks anyone who promotes a tweet into my feed? Would save me a lot of time at the moment.

I would hate to see this idea executed but that’s what some people are asking for.
